As part of the Bank’s strategy to foster d’esprit de corps, cohesion whilst driving up performance, the bank undertook an internal competition amongst enablers, business units and branches of the Bank.
The competition which was on the back of a new culture change with critical behaviors being to take ownership, exhibit passion for their jobs and be customer centric and business minded was geared at staff to raising deposits for the bank.
The contest themed #TogetherWeCan saw Ms. Christine Abraham, a Compliance Officer who emerged the overall best enabler mobilizing the highest deposits for the Bank. Other winners included Cynthia Anima Mintah, Michael Frederick Adu Brafo, Stephen Osei-Tutu, Abena Agyeiwaa Nimo Amankwah, Mabel Quarshie, Bernice Vanderpuye, Victoria Kwakye, Alberta F-Tenkorang, Ato Kwamena Amissah-Arthur, Frances Boakye Oppong, Zakiyatu Alhassan and Maxwell Nana Amonoo Mensah. Winners took home varying prizes.
At a ceremony to recognize and honor the winners, Philip Owiredu, MD of CalBank, thanked all the award recipients for their sterling performance. “On behalf of the entire management team, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication throughout the year. Your passion and commitment have been a driving force in our success, and it’s a great pleasure for me to be able to acknowledge and celebrate your achievements today. Let’s raise a toast to our fantastic team and continue to strive for excellence in all that we do,” he remarked.
The ceremony was attended by other bank executives, managers, and staff. Staff were also treated to a fun-filled day of activities, which provided an opportunity for them to bond and celebrate their achievements.
