CalBank PLC, a leading Ghanaian bank, on Thursday, the 10th of October 2023, presented assorted items and cash donation to the Ga Traditional Council in Accra, as part of its support towards the funeral of the late Paramount Queen of the Ga state, Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru III (Tso Wulu Efa).
The delegation from CalBank, led by Mr. Kofi Siabi, Head of Marketing, and Mr. Thomas Nketiah, Security Coordinator, represented the Bank.
The items presented to the Ga Traditional Council included bottles of Schnapps, along with an undisclosed cash donation aimed at providing support for the funeral ceremonies.
Mr. Siabi, in a brief statement, paid tribute to the late paramount Queen Mother’s significant role in the development of the Ga state. He highlighted her enduring contributions and the positive impact she had made during her lifetime. He also appreciated the Ga Traditional Authorities for the support and partnership between CalBank and the Ga Council
The team subsequently paid their respects by signing the book of condolence and expressed their solidarity with the Ga State in the wake of the loss of their Paramount Queen.
