CalBank Pays Courtesy Call on Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III

CalBank Plc, a leading financial institution in Ghana, on Thursday March 23, 2023, paid a courtesy call on Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III [Omanhene of The New Juaben Traditional Area] in recognition of the Bank’s long-standing relationship with the community and also to congratulate him on his ascension to the throne.

The visit, which took place at the chief’s palace, was attended by Mr. Peter Fordjor [Group Head, Consumer & Retail Banking], Mr. Kwame Amoakohene [Head, Personal Banking], Mr. Daniel Appiah [Head, Business & SME Banking] Mr. Mark Larnor [Branch Manager, Koforidua Branch], Percy Lord Imbeah and Sylvia Frema Mantey (Relationship Officers of Koforidua Branch). On behalf of CalBank, the Bank’s representatives congratulated the Omanhene on his ascension to the throne and expressed their appreciation for the support and patronage of the community and pledged to continue to provide excellent banking services and support community development initiatives.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Peter Fordjor highlighted the importance of the Bank’s relationship with the community and noted that the Bank would continue to collaborate with the community to drive economic growth and development. He also expressed the Bank’s commitment to promoting financial literacy and providing access to finance for individuals and businesses in the community.

“In September 2022, CalBank commissioned a 40-seater computer ICT Edu Lab for the SDA Demonstration Cluster of Schools at Koforidua Asokore, in the Eastern Region, to improve education and support youth development by providing appropriate technologies and developing human capacities that unleash the potential of individuals, communities, and institutions,” Mark Larnor emphasized.

In his response, Daasebre Nana Kwaku Boateng III expressed his gratitude to CalBank for the visit and commended the Bank for its contributions to the growth and development of the community. He noted that the Bank has been a reliable partner in the community’s development efforts and encouraged the Bank to continue to support community initiatives.

“I have seen the positive impact that CalBank has had in our community. The Bank’s commitment to providing financial services and support to our people has not gone unnoticed. I encourage you to continue your good work and to also engage in corporate social initiatives that will further enhance the well-being of our community. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous future for all.,” he remarked.

The courtesy call on Daasebre Nana Kwaku Boateng III is part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its relationship with the community and demonstrate its commitment to supporting the growth and development of the local economy.
