CalBank PLC yesterday presented a cheque of GHS 100,000 to Management of the University of Ghana – Legon, as part of its commitment towards the institution’s classroom modernization project.
The Classroom Modernization Project is one of three-pronged technology-driven initiatives by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, to enhance the experience of students on campus. The project will among other things have selected lecture halls on all campuses of the University redesigned to accommodate smart devices which will support learning technologies, to provide students with easy-to-access information and faculty with interactive software.
Prof Nana Aba Appiah Amfo on behalf of the university expressed appreciation to the Bank for responding to the university when this call was made by the Classroom Modernization Committee.
